Mid-July Update Admissions_banner

Dear Family,

Can you believe it – there are only 53 days until New Student Registration Day on September 6th! We cannot wait for your arrival at Proctor for the 2026-2027 school year. Click HERE for your family’s registration day schedule and check out THIS post for a preview of what to expect.

Following our New Family Enrollment Timeline and Checklist, here are some important mid-July reminders and updates.

Parent and Student Portals

As a reminder, portal access is live for new parents/guardians and students (click HERE to log in)! The Parent Portal serves as your primary hub for student information during the school year.

    Magnus Health Forms

Log in to your Parent Portal to access your family's Magnus Health forms, and please continue working through them – health forms for new students are due August 1. Reach out to the Health Center with any questions about your family’s forms, and contact Tech Support if you have issues logging in to your Parent Portal.

      Course Placements are Live!

Course placements for all students are now visible in Parent and Student Portals! Click HERE to sign in to your portal. Parents/Guardians, click on My Children > Classes & Reports and then the Course Enrollments link under the Student Overview tab.

Scheduling for Learning Skills and Learning Lab is still in progress. The Academic Dean's Office will do its best to maintain current schedules, but there may be some minor adjustments as Learning Skills assignments are finalized. Contact academicdean@proctoracademy.org with any questions about class assignments and schedules.

Summer Academic Work and Google Workspace

With course placements now visible, students should confirm they understand all summer work expectations for their classes and make a plan to complete summer academic work before the start of the year. Visit the Summer Academic Work page to view assignments for Summer Literacy, Summer Math, and any AP/Honors/College-Level courses.

This is also a good time to make sure your student has set up their Proctor Google account – it is the single sign-on for Khan Academy (Summer Math) and the way to access the Summer Literacy reading assignment (Google Drive shared PDF). Login credentials were sent to new students by Tech Support in early June. Students should contact Tech Support if they have any issues signing in to or setting up their account.

Proctor Student Handbook and School Permission Forms

The 2026-2027 edition of our Student Handbook is being finalized, and related permission forms will become available in August. Once both are ready, we will send a follow-up email with more details.

Log In and Connect to Your Student in Orah

You should have received an email invitation (and reminders) to set up your Orah account. Orah is our platform for permission forms, travel passes, and emergency communications. Please connect to your student as soon as possible – permission forms become available in August, and you won't be able to access or sign them until you do. Contact studentlife@proctoracademy.org if you need assistance.

              Wilderness Orientation 2026

Visit our Wilderness Orientation webpage to read a welcome letter from Director Kayden Will, access the equipment list, and learn more about the shared experience that has launched every Proctor student's journey since 1971! As a reminder, new students must have a physical before arriving on campus for Registration Day and Wilderness Orientation.

                Student Device Requirements

Review the Technology Specifications and Requirements for Student Devices and Technology FAQs. If your student needs a new device, please purchase and set it up before Registration Day.
