Dear Family,
As we turn the calendar to July, we turn our attention to the coming school year and all of the excitement that comes with welcoming new students, faculty, and staff to our community. This summer will be one of transitions not only for the humans within our community, but our software systems. This note is simply a preview of some of the changes happening behind the scenes at Proctor and contains a few summer reminders. We hope you are enjoying sunshine, family, and all that summer has to offer wherever you call home!
SOFTWARE SYSTEM UPDATES
New Student Information System and Parent Portal | Veracross | Target Launch Date, August 1
As we undergo this transition to Veracross (from Blackbaud), we will share new login information for the new “myProctor” parent portal. This shift will impact academic records and how you, as parents, will interact with the Parent Portal, where you will find your student’s academic records, official notes, attendance records, as well as mid-term and end-of-term grades. We are excited about this new system and know there will likely be a few bumps along the way.
New Learning Management System | Canvas | Target Launch Date, August 1
While parents/guardians will have very little interaction with our new Learning Management System, Canvas, this tool will be the center of our students’ academic world. Homework assignments, class units, resources, and tools will exist in Canvas for all of our classes. This system will provide a top notch experience (one consistent with most college academic programs), while also consolidating many of the tools used for homework assignments in the past.
New Student Billing System | FACTS | LIVE Now
All parents/guardians should have received communication from our Business Office regarding the billing software for the 2024-2025 school year, FACTS. If you have any questions about how to log in to your FACTS account or about student billing, please connect with Cheryl in our Business Office.

New Online Store Launched

Summer Academic Work Reminders
As was communicated in our final Parent Page of the school year and in new student communications, Proctor’s Summer Academic Work information can be found HERE. All students are expected to complete these summer assignments prior to arrival on campus in September. Please reach out to academicdean@proctoracademy.org with questions.
Permission/Enrollment Forms - Keep Your Eyes Out
Lastly, keep your eyes out for communication in mid/late July related to permission forms and final enrollment/re-enrollment forms. These online forms are due in early August and are essential to complete prior to your student’s arrival on campus in September.
